The Basics

What is lip filler?

Lip filler uses hyaluronic acid to add volume, definition, and symmetry to the lips. Unlike the overdone results of the past, today's lip enhancement focuses on natural-looking improvement that enhances your features without looking artificial.

Nikki uses only premium HA fillers — such as Juvederm Volbella, Juvederm Ultra, and Restylane Kysse — each chosen based on the specific look you want to achieve.

Volume

Adding gentle, natural-looking fullness to lips that have thinned over time or were always on the smaller side.

Definition

Sharpening the border of the lips (vermillion border) for a more polished, defined appearance — even without adding significant volume.

Symmetry

Addressing subtle asymmetry between the upper and lower lips or uneven cupid's bow for a more balanced, harmonious look.

What to Expect

Your lip enhancement experience

01

Consultation

You and Nikki discuss the look you want — more volume, more definition, or both. Photos are welcome to share your inspiration.

02

Numbing

A topical numbing cream is applied for 15–20 minutes before treatment to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

03

Treatment

Filler is carefully injected in small amounts. The appointment itself takes about 20–30 minutes.

04

Results

You'll see results immediately. Swelling peaks at 24–48 hours and subsides. Final results are visible at 2 weeks and last 6–12 months.

FAQ

Common questions

Will my lips look overdone?
Never with Nikki's approach. She uses a conservative, anatomy-first technique — always starting with less and building gradually to ensure results look natural and proportionate to your face.
How much swelling should I expect?
Swelling is normal and peaks within 24–48 hours. It resolves within a week. Plan treatments at least 2 weeks before any important events.
How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months, as the lips are a high-movement area. Many patients choose to top up every 6–9 months.
Can I get a lip flip instead?
Yes! A lip flip uses a small amount of neurotoxin to gently roll the upper lip outward for a fuller appearance — without adding volume. It's a great subtle option.
